Stopped here today on the way up Route 2. This store has been a pizza joint at least 25 years and I took a chance and turned down Cowesett Ave. and there it was. The place is clean and attractive. They've definitely upgraded since the last owners left. There are a few tables and chairs on one side and a bar that wraps around the open kitchen. They have Budweiser and Bud Light on draft. I got the Gyro sandwich on the recommendation of Mark G. It was just like he said, carved straight off the spit, with a cool cucumber sauce, tomatoes and onions and wrapped in a warm pita. It was delicious. They don't deliver very far - 3 miles maybe. If you're in the Cowesett or Crompton area, I would definitely recommend this place.

They have great food here, always pleasant to go in and wait for the order to come out. Glad to order from a locally owned business rather than a chain pizza place. Chicken fingers come with a nice helping of fries too (which I think should be a federal law). The online ordering tool through their website is really nice as well.

I've been buying Gyro sandwiches at this location for over 10 years and am never disappointed. They are fast, friendly and excellent food every time. What makes their Gyro special is they don't buy that frozen Gyro meat you cook on the grill. They have a real spit and heat up the meat to order. I would suggest stop reading this and call in an order or go to their website to order online and even pay with your credit card online if you like.

Great pizza, quick service and consistent. I'm addicted to the Spinach, Feta and Tomato with Chicken Pizza!! Call or order online and it's done in 20 mins. Have a beer while you wait. Dr J

the cow always delivers....last night I got a gyro and a lg pepp/mush pizza and let me tell you I haven't been here in a few months but it's always a sure bet. The gyro was out of this world...the tsatsiki sauce was awesome and the quality/quantity of the toppings was unreal. Their pizza is hands down best around and beats out the chains for quality and taste every time

Nice crispy flavorful pizza. Size was a little small for the price, but the overall quality was good and the service was friendly.

Stopped into Cowessett Pizza a month ago & they had gyro meat roasting on a spit. I had to have one and it was better than the average. Real tzatziki sauce! Saw person having an Italian grinder, that looked like the kind you used to get. Looked full of tomatoes with lots of shredded lettuce. YUM----errrt. Crash! Wrong:( Went back & ordered that mouth watering Italian grinder at $5.95 for an 8". I got 4 slices of salami, 1 slice of thin ham cut in half, 1 slice provolone, gobs of hot pickled peppers, a chintzy tomato in half & a sprinkling of shredded lettuce. AND in RI they put it on a soft roll. Barely warmed it. For Real??!!! Asked to have it wrapped--- they handed me a pizza box AM I Missing Something Here???

Been ordering from this pizza place since I moved here. Down to earth friendly people. Delivery is fast good or bad weather. Love the pizza. Best pie I've had in a long time. Wings are good. Cheeseburger clubs are filling. Hard not to order there pizza everytime it's so good. Got a solvoki one time won't order again. Way to much cucumber sauce was very soggy and didn't come with fries. But love the pizza and the down to earth people keep me coming back over and over.

Only had an order delivered to my hotel room. The calzone was average at best, and my chicken parm grinder was inedible. The chicken cutlets where obviously a frozen chicken patty, and the bread was soggy and totally unappetizing. If there pizza is made from the same dough as the calzone, wich is generally the case, i can only imagine another disappointment.

Great pizza with fresh ingredients, I love bacon on my pizza, and this is one of the few places that actually use real bacon, and not the cheap crumbles, the mozzarella melts perfectly and you can tell it is another high quality product. Family owned and operated, always friendly and prompt service if picking up or delivery.

One of the worst pizza I've ever had...From the crust to the sauce! Tasted dry & old! Not to mention a little kid(6 or 7 years old) playing in the kitchen. Is this a resturant or a daycare? Another townie hang out! Avoid!
